SUMMARY:ESPE-OSCAR Science Symposium 2025
DESCRIPTION:This fifth edition\, jointly organized by the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) and the French network for rare bone\, calcium and cartilage diseases (OSCAR)\, will focus on the theme of Mineralization of bone and growth plate\, towards the development of new therapies. \nThe symposium will address a wide range of key themes\, including: \n\nGenetic and developmental skeletal disorders\nAdvances in the understanding of short stature and bone growth\nNew insights into the role of the growth plate and innovative tools for bone analysis\nRecent discoveries concerning vitamin D and its global impact\nThe use of teeth as models for the study of bone pathologies\nClinical and scientific approaches to fibrous dysplasia\n\nIn addition to these topics\, the programme will include keynote presentations\, a panel discussion and networking opportunities.
